Establishing a national network of Creativity Collaboratives was a key recommendation of the 2019 Durham Commission on Creativity and Education. There are now two phases to the Creativity Collaboratives action research programme. The pilot phase running from 2021 to 2024 and the legacy phase running from 2024 - 2026.
