A new teaching resource to support pupil voice

Pupils from the C Change Creativity Collaborative worked with sound artist and composer Gawain Hewitt to test approaches for encouraging young people to share their views on their learning experiences.

In March 2024, pupils from C Change Creativity Collaborative teamed up with sound artist and composer Gawain Hewitt to explore innovative ways of encouraging young people to share their views on their learning experiences.

This resource brings together the outcomes of that collaboration, offering a set of 10 recommended activities designed to amplify youth voice. Each activity is quick to implement, taking just 10 minutes, and can be used individually or as part of a larger series.

Before starting, you'll need to decide on four key questions that you want to explore, with a commitment to act on the insights you gather.

Created by Gawain Hewitt, with contribution from Abigail D'Amore, this resource was tested and explored as part of the Creativity Collaboratives pilot programme.
